I’ve been there.
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012, photographed more than a thousand families, and built a business doing something I genuinely love. But I didn’t start out knowing what I was doing. I learned by doing it, screwing things up, figuring out what worked, changing what didn’t, and doing it again.
And before photography, I was a teacher.
That part matters because I don’t want to just tell you what I do and send you on your way. I want you to understand why something works so you can figure it out when I’m not standing beside you.

Not at all. My mentorships are designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re still figuring out manual mode or you’ve been photographing clients and want help growing your business, we’ll build your mentorship around what you need.
In-person mentorships are based in the York, PA area. We’ll choose a location based on what we’ll be working on and the type of model session we plan.
For mentorships that include shooting, bring your camera, lenses, and anything you normally use during a session. A laptop is helpful when we’re working on editing, your website, workflow, or business.
