What is a lifestyle newborn session?
A lifestyle newborn session captures natural, candid moments in the comfort of your home, focusing on genuine interactions and emotions within your family.
When is the best time to schedule a lifestyle newborn session?
Ideally, sessions take place within the first two weeks after birth, when your baby is still tiny and settling into their new surroundings.
How long does a lifestyle newborn session last?
Most sessions last about 1–2 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and taking breaks as needed.
What should we wear?
Comfortable, coordinating outfits that reflect your personal style work best. Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. I recommend avoiding very bright colors and busy prints for everyone participating.
Can siblings and pets be included?
Absolutely. Lifestyle sessions are all about capturing your whole family — including big brothers, sisters, and fur babies.
Do we need to prepare our home?
What if my baby is fussy?
Totally normal. Sessions are relaxed and flexible, with time built in for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. Some of the sweetest moments come from letting baby lead the way.
Can we include props or personal details?
Lifestyle sessions are intentionally simple, but if you have meaningful items you’d like to include, we can absolutely talk through those ideas together.
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive a sneak peek shortly after your session, with the full gallery delivered within about two weeks.

I’m based in York, PA and serve families throughout York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Baltimore.
